So here is a small comparison between the blink and ring. The blink is not only cheaper per unit but the subscription and premium monitoring services are also much more affordable!!! Both ring and blank are owned by Amazon, making a lux integration standard. So what's the downside despite the detailed instructions and explainer video, we still struggled to mount the doorbell to the door frame! While blank and ring have very similar audio and video quality once the sun sets you can really notice the difference, blink, unfortunately, doesn't have the same night vision capabilities!!

The ring has so what are other people saying about the blink video doorbell!!! Amazon user Katie bug wrote, "she received this item yesterday was able to install the doorbell today fairly easy installation!!! The camera quality is good I chose this doorbell, because of the ability to wire it into my existing chime box in the house. My house was built in the early 80s and the original chime box is compatible and does ring when the doorbell is activated."
