Today we're going to be taking a look at the all new Kinhank Retro Super Console X King. These names are kind of getting out of hand but either way you look at it when it comes down to these arm based retro consoles that have been hit in the market recently, most of them are powered by the S905 or an S905 variant, like the X3. This one should offer a significant performance boost, because this is actually powered by the Amlogic S922x, we also have four gigs of RAM to back that up!! If you're not familiar with these ready to go retro consoles, basically what we have here is a plug and play emulation system. This one just happens to have 256 GBs of storage with almost 50 000 games and paired up with that S922x. We should see some decent performance out of a lot of the harder to emulate stuff. This is the GT King from Beelink, so we have a dual boot operating system, we can run android on this or we can run EMU elect. Totally from the 256 GBs micro SD card that's installed in and if you pull that out you can boot this directly into android!!! You're also going to get two wireless controllers which are the less expensive or the cheaper versions of the PS3 controllers, but they are 2.4 GHtz.

When it comes to the specs of this little box for the CPU it has the Amlogic S922x, which is a six core arm CPU, two A53 cores running at up to two GHz and for A73 cores running at one point. GPU is the Mali G52 MP6. we have 4GBRAM, 64 GB of internal storage,with android 9 running on that! A 256GB micro sd card running Emuelec. This comes with almost 50000 games and with that S922x we

should be able to run Sega Saturn, 64 PSP, PS1 Dreamcast, Naomi all of the harder to run emulators, that didn't perform well on the S905 version should perform pretty decently on this. But don't expect it to run Gamecube and Wii games.

 

Performance

We do have some box art, we also have some screen shots of game that make it easy finding the correct game because Emuelec does have a search function built in. If you want to change the theme you can get online using ethernet or wi-fi download different themes there's two pre-installed. After layout we get into performance. Get into some gameplay, we checked its performance in Sega Saturn, N64, PSP & PS 1 games. Which all ran very fast and smoothly at 60 Fps. One thing we noticed is the really hard games to emulate aren't even listed, they're

not on the console. So the god of war series, Midnight Club, killzone aren't even in here. You could add a manually if you want to. Overall its performance is impressive, with this little console. Now there's one thing also must be mentioned that, you can actually do this yourself!! With a box like this you can buy this box for a little bit cheaper, get your micro SD card, install bottle sarah or Emuelect and get something like this up and running you could even use the Odroid N2.

These are really made for people who just kind of don't want to mess with that stuff, they want to take it out of the box plug it in and start playing their favorite Retro games and you know really I have nothing against that but they are a bit more expensive than the original device. Because some work has gone into this if you saw the original Super Console x and you wanted a little more out of it, then this one's definitely for you!!! We have a lot more CPU and GPU power and as you know we're getting some great Dreamcast PSP autonomous wave and even Sega Saturn performance out of the king version. But like we mentioned you could always go out and buy the Odroid N2 and do it all yourself!! If that's really what you're into but that's gonna wrap it up about Kinhak Super Console X King. I'm really surprised by the performance on this thing, these arm chips and emulation have definitely come a long way and it's getting better and better.
