DJI FPV DRONE

DJI FPV DRONE

Latest Features

The DJI FPV Drone combines the best of three worlds:-

Ø  First it is a Super Fast FPV Drone that allows for some insane maneuvers while being fully assembled and ready for adventures out of the box, no nerd skills required!!!

Ø  Secondly and this is important news!! It is beginner-friendly and can be controlled by literally everyone not just by full-time and pro flyers.

Ø  And thirdly it comes with an inbuilt 4k camera with the latest digital image stabilization for crisp and steady recordings ready to be uploaded and shared on social media.

Now that is a powerful combination as pretty much all other FPV Drones on the market require advanced technological skills for the assembly and they're also super difficult to control, as they usually have almost no safety tools aboard. Having an out of the box ready to use FPV Drone that hits maximum speeds of around 90 miles per hour and that can be flown by literally anyone, sounds awesome and sets this drone apart from pretty much all other models on the market. But let's face the truth so far these are all promises made by the manufacturer only!!!

Optimistic Outlook

So we'll be looking at the four major components the DJI FPV Drone itself, remote controller, goggles, and the all-new motion controller. Firstly let's check out some of the details of this fascinating new piece of electronics DJI's first-ever FPV Drone, it has a unique design. It neither looks like a typical FPV nor like a normal drone. It's made of strong fiber-reinforced plastic that can take some bumps and certain major parts can even easily be replaced in case of an accident, like the camera the half-transparent top shell, and the legs. That is definitely good news, for a drone that can perform some truly dangerous maneuvers. In general, nothing feels shaky or loose instead the drone feels very sturdy and well assembled. The higher build quality comes at a price though. Ready for takeoff drone, battery, and propellers weigh only a little less than 800 grams. A total of 10 LEDs add to the drone's aggressive look and make it nicely visible in flight. Two led strips face to the front and eight to the back. The propellers can be attached within seconds only and without any tools, they sit nice and tight and won't come off accidentally. The drone is equipped with front-back and bottom anti-collision cameras with a max detection range of up to 50 meters. The super wide-angled 4k camera sits in the front and right below it hidden behind a latch, the drone features a USB C input and a micro SD card slot, that accepts cards with a maximum capacity of up to 256 GBS.

Assembling and Takeoff

Building the drone up is a quick and flawless process and that is a big deal when it comes to FPV drones because usually, it is actually pretty tricky to assemble an FPV flyer. Not anymore with the DJI FPV Drone, first, you remove the Gimbal protector, next you attach the propellers, right after you insert the battery and plugin its very thick cable. Finally, you turn the drone on by double pressing on the battery's power button, and bam the drone is cleared for takeoff. Of course, i measured three key values right away:-

Ø  First The Flight Time: DJI claims 20 minutes under real-life circumstances and in S mode saying with the obstacle avoidance cameras enabled I was able to keep the drone airborne for about 14 minutes.

Ø  The Drone's Max Speed: this time the drone outperformed the specs instead of 86 miles per hour the drone flew 93 miles per hour in mode and with some tailwind.

Ø  Max Distance: officially DJI promotes 6 miles for legal reasons I could not fly out of sight as with most modern DJI drones the connection is flawless and a major reason to buy a DJI product.

Flight Assessment

I didn't have any interruptions, not even a signal flicker except when flying into the volcano's craters the drone is equipped with top-notch safety features and sensors an inbuilt GPS and Glonass module a barometer, a compass, and bottom sensors keep the drone's flight steady and safe while plenty of small cameras the anti-collision system effectively push the brakes when they detect a nearby obstacle, that is especially helpful for beginners and works out fantastic, System can, of course, be manually disabled for faster flights.

DJI FPV drone is equipped with three flight modes, the first one is your go-to mode if you're completely new to droning all sensors are working and they're keeping the flight safe the speed is limited. Drone won't tip over everything is safe and easy to fly.

S mode is a hybrid mode the drone combines free flight with safety it flies a lot faster but still, it won't tip over instead it leans over a lot it's your go-to mode if you're trying to advance your skills.

Finally, there's M mode ‘manual mode’ you should only switch it on once you feel safe enough with S mode because in manual mode all the safety related features are turned off and the drone just does what you tell it to do and what the wind forces it to do. The drone can flip it can fly looping and do all kinds of crazy things M mode is the pro mode no GPS, no barometer, no sensors no anti-collision cameras. The maximum speed that my drone flew was slightly more than 90 miles per hour. The drone can tip over fly looping’s fly straight up or almost race down ground wards there are no limits except for ‘your flight skills’. Flying in manual mode is really a lot of fun once you get the hang of it though can take a bit of time it's not something you're a pro at after flying the drone three or four times. Most pilots will indeed get started with N-mode then level up and use S-mode to practice the free flight skills in a safe manner and then after a while they'll be ready for manual mode for actual FPV style flying. If you ever find yourself in an emergency situation you can at all times and in all flight modes press the pause button, the drone is immediately goanna come to a stop it's goanna hover in the air but of course, the drone needs a few seconds to come to a full stop.

So Buy It or Not!!!!

Well!! If you are a starter or you are a professional, I recommend it because of all of its safety features and specifications it is definitely a Next-Gen Drone. But with these specs and features, it is definitely goanna cost you. THE GOOD NEWS is that I have brought you some catching deals below.
